WV Coal Association Installs “Contact the EPA” Tool on Websites: More than 280 send emails to EPA in 24 hours

CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Coal Association and Friends of Coal launched a “Contact the EPA” email tool on their websites this week, allowing people to send messages directly to EPA Director Gina McCarthy. In the first 24 hours after the launch, more than 280 people had accessed the tool and sent emails to the director asking her to hold a “listening session” in West Virginia to hear the impact of the agency’s policies on the people of our region.

Links to the tool were also provided on our Friends of Coal social media platform and via direct email to the Friends of Coal database. You can access the tool athttp://www.wvcoal.com/soundoff/
