TUNE IN FOR THE NEW FRIENDS OF COAL COACHES’ SHOW
Nehlen-Pruett radio show debuts Monday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Former football coaches Don Nehlen (West Virginia) and Bob Pruett (Marshall) headline a new radio show that begins Monday on MetroNews affiliates.

The show will air from 7:06 to 8 p.m. each Monday through Nov. 25 on MetroNews affiliates across the state, including WCHS-AM (580) in Charleston and WRVC-AM (930) in Huntington.

Nehlen and Pruett will take calls from listeners and talk football and more with host Dave Weekley, who said the former coaches will discuss current topics regarding college football. “This just won’t be a nostalgia show,” Weekley said.

“Coach Nehlen and Coach Pruett are true Friends of Coal,” said Bill Raney, president of the West Virginia Coal Association. “We are looking forward to listening and learning a lot about football and coal.”
